Network

40% of Singapore's public transport journeys are made via rail, with the percentage set to increase as newer rail lines are being built; improving connectivity within the island.

In the coming years, several new lines and stations will open - the Thomson-East Coast (Stages 3-5), Jurong Region and Cross Island Lines, Brickland and Sungei Kadut stations on the North-South Line, Hume station on the Downtown Line, Teck Lee station on the Punggol LRT, the sixth stage of the Circle Line, and extensions to the North East and Downtown Lines.
