New wayfinding system

The Thomson-East Coast Line will be adopting a new transit signage system with a larger font, new and improved icons, sharper colour contrast and improved signbox design.

The system follows an "Inform, Direct, Confirm" principle for navigation within the station and to find the right exit.

Entering the train network

Public Transport Symbol

The new Thomson-East Coast Line station entrances will feature the public transport symbol at a prominent location, usually next to the main road. Use this symbol to locate the station entrances.

Train lines

Train lines are marked out with their two-letter abbreviation on the station caplet with the line colour. Follow these signs for direction to the train platform.

Priority Use icons

Passengers who require to use the lifts can follow signs marked with the "Priority Use" icons.
